Seasons Chasing Seasons

Angry and judgemental we follow
We'll see you today and tomorrow
We're angry for all the wrong reasons
We ruin lives season by season

We sell to some to be righteous
With criminals we share your secrets
Left in their hands to be dealt with
While making you out to be bad

Our judgement is weak at best
Like animals we beat on our chest
Intellect skewed by unreason
We feel as if God we are pleasing

I've always known you exist
I won't ever mark up my wrists
If my family you come after tomorrow
Be prepared for what follows

UnAmerican to say the least
You function as an unholy beast
Like legion they seem as one
Their exposure right under the Sun

And to the leader I address you
Your judgment in this matter is skewed
Instead of support for who need it
You do evil and claim they read it

Faith gives a power to move those
Who need to feel a part of something more
Because their lives are so shallow
Easier to control those who follow

The majority are trash at least
Unclean, unkempt, human beasts
Using the filth of the land
With promises to move up in hand

Similar to terrorist tactics
To recruit kamikazes is drastic
Told they are to be loyal
Just fodder for the battle royal

It's sad in these modern times
You cannot parley or meet
To layout your demands before you
You turn to calling a Jew?

The true testament of a leader
Is rehabilitating all even the meager
Helping everyone to grow
And saving everyone's soul

I'd be happy to sit down to discuss it
The unique strength I possess you could use it
If not for a grudge on a kid
You see in this case your judgement slid

I write this message for you
I know you'll find it this clue
And then I'll still be loving you too
Because I follow what Jesus taught you
